OCL Sponsorship Program

Founded in 2005, Oregon Cricket League (OCL) has been set-up with the motto of providing the opportunity to cricket lovers to learn and play competitive cricket in the state of Oregon. OCL also strives to foster and promote cricket within Oregon and beyond. OCL started with just 4 clubs but since then has grown substantially with 7 current member clubs and 200 active members from diverse cultures and different parts of globe. In an effort to make cricket more popular, OCL invites cricket enthusiasts to join us and support the growth and development of this popular game of Cricket. OCL also believes in building relationships with businesses around and beyond the community to spread the awareness about this game. To accomplish it goals, OCL is always looking for new partners in this effort. Building association with OCL will not only prove beneficial for this sport but will also help businesses expand themselves by gaining advantage from the exposure it will get by becoming OCL partner. OCL currently offers three levels of sponsorship packages. Following are the details of the packages offered.

Basic Sponsorship Package : Membership: $ 200 - $350

Benefits:

• Promotional Banner of the sponsor will be displayed during all the OCL matches.
• Promote sponsor’s business via a banner advertisement on OCL website’s home page http://www.oregoncricketleague.org/
• Promotional announcement at OCL Events (only applicable for higher range membership)

Silver Sponsorship Package : Membership: $400 - $650

Benefits:

• Includes all the benefits offered in the Basic Sponsorship Package, plus
• Mention of sponsor’s business on OCL’s Facebook page
• Generate business for sponsor by sponsoring 5% discounts to OCL players visiting and using the services offered by the sponsor. (see addendum “C” for more details)
• Association with maximum of 2 players of choice: If any or both of the selected players win any individual award/ratings during the entire OCL season, the sponsors will get a discount of $100 which they can apply towards their sponsorship package charges either for current year or next year. (see the teams and players statistical ratings in addendum “A”)
• Sponsors will also get to offer their services at various OCL Events. (See addendum “B” for details)
• Promotional announcement at OCL Events (only applicable for higher range membership)

Gold Sponsorship Package : Membership: $800 - $1050 and up

Benefits:

• Includes all the benefits offered in the Basic Sponsorship Package, plus
• Mention of sponsor’s business on OCL’s Facebook page
• Generate business for sponsor by sponsoring 10% discounts to OCL players visiting the business. (see addendum “C” for more details)
• Association with one OCL team of choice and any other two players from any of the OCL teams: (see the teams and players statistical ratings in addendum “A”)
• If any of the associated teams wins any individual award/ratings during the entire OCL season, the sponsors will get a discount of $100 which they can apply towards their sponsorship package charges either for current year or next year.
• If any of the chosen players wins any individual award/ratings during the entire OCL season, the sponsor will get a discount of $150 which they can apply towards their sponsorship package charges either for current year or next year.
• Sponsors will also get to offer their services at various OCL Events. (See addendum “B” for details)
• Sponsors name will be promoted on OCL Trophies (For top 3 sponsors with higher membership package)

Addendum B : Sponsor services at OCL Events

Based on the sponsorship level, sponsors will get opportunity to offer their services at various OCL Events. OCL management will intimate sponsors of those events and work with them to make required arrangements.

Some examples of how sponsors get involved in OCL events is given below. (Subjected to changes)

- Sponsors who own restaurants will get opportunity to cater the food on OCL Events. (Gold sponsorship members will get preference over Silver sponsorship members. OCL management will make the final decision )

- Sponsor with Retail business will get opportunity to market their brand and sell their products at OCL Events.

Addendum C : Discounts for OCL players to user sponsors services

Discounts offered to players will be based on the sponsorship levels of the sponsors as described in sponsorship package details. - For using sponsor services with Restaurant business

- OCL players will get appropriate discount from OCL on the amount they spend for the food at each visit to the restaurant. Players will need to submit the receipts within next 30 days of their visit.

- For using services of sponsors in Fitness business – OCL players will receive appropriate discount on their membership of Fitness Center. Minimum of 1 month membership is required to get the discount. Players will need to provide the valid proof of membership. - For using services of sponsors in Retail business – OCL players will get appropriate discount on the amount they spend on buying any of the products offered by the retail business. Maximum of 4 visits per month will be taken in to account. Players will need to submit the receipts within next 30 days of their visit.
